[After switching on, the video flops about in a haphazard, obviously-Pokemon-directed way. As the cameramon struggles to point the Pokegear in the intended direction, the interior of a room at the Goldenrod inn becomes visible. A television is running in the background, but it's turned down and not clearly audible over the noise of the 'Gear being fumbled with.

Finally it settles on its intended target:

A pair of small, snoozing, fuzzy Pokemon! They're taking up the whole top end of the bed, and seem to have gotten turned around since falling asleep...

The camera lingers on them for a while, as the cameramon coos quietly to herself. Oh god they're so cute so adorable aaaah.

The video shuts off.

It turns back onto a scene from about half an hour later. The Shinx is galumphing around the edges of the bed, jumping and tripping over the rumpled-up covers. The Absol is lying on his back in the center of the Shinx's circular path, exchanging swats with the smaller Pokemon. After running a few rounds, the Shinx jumps on the Absol's face, and the two squawk and yowl as they bat playfully at one another, rolling back and forth and then off the bed completely.

The video shuts off again.]

[Later in the day, Ondorus makes a text post, unaware of earlier antics.]

These questions are for anyone who wishes to answer any portion of them.

- In and around Goldenrod, what sights and attractions would you recommend to someone who is unfamiliar with cities?

- Do you bother keeping track of your birthday in Johto? If you do, and if the year of your world is not of the length of a Johto year, how do you measure out when that and other dates from your world occur?

- Where raising young Pokemon is concerned, does anyone have any wisdom to share that isn't often found in the books on the subject?

- To misters Sion and Ryder: the eggs I purchased from you have hatched safely and healthily, in case the parents wish to be informed. Thank you, again.

Not too strangely, yet, as I've only been in Johto for a little under a month. I suppose I would find the slow turn of the seasons disconcerting if I'd lived in a place that experienced seasonal changes to begin with.

The people around me do seem to have a more drawn-out sense of time than those I knew in my own world. Planning events for weeks ahead, rather than days; things like that.

Ah, so you're a newcomer... [So many of them. It was an odd pattern.]

I can see how that would be odd. After all, with such a small amount of time for something to happen, it would make sense to accommodate by moving at a pace that seems more hurried.

Now, it seems like spending months away from the office isn't such a bad thing.

I don't know about "hurried". Even with something to compare to, I think of it as...letting no time go to waste. I think that is a more accurate way to describe the mindset.

Office? Did you live in a city before coming to Johto? [cities are cooool (scary but cooool)]

That's an efficient train of thought. How long are your days? Are they paced at twenty-four hours as well?

I lived in a main city of a kingdom. The atmosphere here is far different from my world, but it hasn't been difficult to accommodate to.

Ahh... no, my town was populated but much wider. The cities here seem quite contained and everywhere is close to one another. I currently live in the largest city. However, it's also the capital containing not only the royal staff and ambassadors but the military as well. Numbers-wise, I do believe it was... around 600,000.

How incredible... [lol rpg populations] Before coming to Johto, I'd never before seen more than a hundred people at once. It's thrilling to think of other such places now, after coming to Goldenrod.

Well, it's most likely only one of the largest because the man in charge is rather... extroverted. ['Womanizing prettyboy moron in charge' is more like it.]

Where do you hail from? I imagine, from your words, that it was smaller than mine.

Very much so. My home is a settlement, inhabited by very few permanent residents. The majority of the population only spend a month or two there before moving on, and the most crowded the settlement becomes is when large caravans use it as a resting point.

Ah... How peculiar. A shorter mount of time and a smaller city...

I wonder if your world is just minuscule compared to others.

I doubt so. Our settlement is small compared to even the humans' village nearby, which in turns is many times smaller than a normal city in Norad. Norad itself is quite expansive, and it is only one of several states on only the continent of Adonea.

Several states? How many different divisions does your world possess?

On Adonea, the Kingdom of Norad and the Sechs Empire are the largest political entities. Other, smaller states exist as well, such as the Republic of Eucraft, the Kingdom of Roland, and some city-states...much of what lies beyond Adonea is a mystery, though there are some island nations that interact often with the mainland, such as the nation of the elves.

So there are quite a few, it seems. Do most of them have such small amounts of residents?

It depends entirely upon the location. I lived in a very rural, isolated area. Nearer to the capital, the population would be dramatically higher, reaching into the hundreds of thousands.

That's understandable, given the draw of people. What kept you to your smaller town? Or were you just not much of a traveler?

Duty. The settlement was established by my people generations ago, and I cannot in good conscience abandon the efforts of my ancestors. As much as I'd like to see the world...there's not much left of the Univir, and preserving what is left is more important than my whims.

Ah, that is certainly a solid reason. Perhaps you'll be able to steal away some time to travel, if not briefly.
